  1. Hoping you have a marvellous time in Guatemala, Lindsay, and that you will fully experience and be able to contribute everything that the Lord has planned for you there. Don’t forget to reapply that sunblock, and drink, drink, drink! Mrs. Gish

  2. Awwww, I bet they miss you, too, sweetie, but you’ll be home before you know it. It’s true that “Absence makes the heart grow fonder,” as the old proverb says, but feeling homesick is no fun either, so I hope that passes quickly for you. May fresh joy fill your heart and take the place of the sadness you carry and make new happy memories to fill you up with hope for the future 🙂 Can’t wait to hear your stories when you return! bye now

  3. Ohhhhhhh, honey. He knew you loved him! Remember that. I have people I miss terribly, too, but I do know this–as the years go by, the ache softens a little and we grow a little and it gets sweeter to recall them as our regrets fade. Ya gotta let him go, like it or not. There is so much in this life that we can’t control. That’s when it helps to hang on the the One Who is in perfect control. We can always trust in His character, even when nothing makes sense, or goes on my timetable, or has just plain gone crazy. Sometimes all you can do is cry and wait til you realize that He cries with you. Then He dries your tears. 🙂
